Customers’ Use of our Services

This Privacy Notice does not apply to the processing of personal data that occurs when our Customers use the Service for their own purposes. The collection and processing of personal data by our customers when they use our Service is subject to the privacy policy of these Customers, as posted on their websites. We do not control the type of information that our Customers may choose to collect or manage using our Service. That personal data is owned by them, and it is processed by them, or on their behalf, in accordance to their instructions, and their own policies. We are not responsible for our Customer’s use of personal data that they collect using our Service.

What information do we collect from you?

We will collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information you give us. This is information about you that you give us by registering on our site, uploading data to our site, subscribing to one of our Services or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. The information you give us may include your name, company name, address, email address, images and phone number and financial information.

  • Information we collect from your use of our site.With regard to each of your visits to our site we will automatically collect the following information:

  • Information we collect throughout our relationship. This is information relating to your purchases and any communications you may have with us regarding our products and Services.

  • Information we collect when you call us. If you call us we will automatically collect the following information:

    • The phone number used to call us

  • Providing us with your details online. This is information you may choose to provide us using the ‘Live Chat’ section of our Site or Service. The information we may receive may vary but typically includes your name, email address and IP address.

  • Information we collect when you link your 3rd party email account and calendar with us. As a user of our Service, you can elect to connect your third party email and/or calendar account to your GleanView account. If you connect your email account, we will log any emails sent or received from contacts stored in GleanView and attach them to the contact record. If you connect your calendar account, we will duplicate events on your third party calendar as calendar events in GleanView.

Why do we collect this information?

We process your personal information for the following reasons:

  • Pursuant to a contract in order to:

    • process information at your request to take steps to enter into a contract;

    • provide you with our services;

    • process payments;

    • maintain business and service continuity; and

    • send service communications so that you receive a full and functional service and so we can perform our obligations to you. These may be sent by email. These will include notifications about changes to our service.

  • On the basis of your consent:

    • Where we rely on your consent for processing this will be brought to your attention when the information is collected from you;

  • In our legitimate interests of providing the best service and improving and growing our business we will process information in order to:

How long do we keep of your information?

We will keep information about you until we no longer have a legitimate business need to retain it unless our obligations to regulators require otherwise. The contents of cancelled subscriptions to our Service are kept for a maximum of 3 months from the date of cancellation.
